It’s a question many of us struggle with at this time of year. Have you had the discipline to be ‘nice’ all year in order to move up Santa’s list, or have you had a few episodes of ‘naughty’ that are going to hurt your chances of Santa dropping by with that new iPod you’ve been asking for?

Well, to help you determine this, I’ve come up with a quick little quiz that should help you decide whether or not you need to leave the cookies out on the mantle this year on Christmas Eve.

Naughty or Nice. The Quiz. 

1. Did you watch 2 chicks, 1 cup?

Yes - Shame on you. Give yourself -1 point.

No - Good job. Not only did you save money on future therapy, but you get +1 point.

2. Did you record a friend watching 2 chicks, 1 cup and post it on YouTube?

Yes - For giving everybody else a good laugh as your friend yaks, you get +1 point.

No - It’s ok, no points lost on this one.

3. While holiday shopping this year, have you cut anybody off in traffic on purpose?

No - You’re a strong one. +1 point.

Yes - Take away 1 point unless you drive a newer blue Ford Explorer with low profile tires and shiny rims and Nevada license plate beginning with TP4 and you were in the vicinity of Meadows Mall around 2 p.m. yesterday, then give yourself +3 points and contact me. I’ve got a great bonus gift I want to give you!

4. While blogging, have you talked about your boss, a co-worker, a former friend, or your mother?

Yes - Take away 1 point. Unless they deserved it then who I am to judge?

No - I guess you get +1 point though really, what are you blogging about? Lunch? A neat gadget? Making money? Come on, give your readers what they really want. Nobody wants to read your making money post summarizing John Chow’s latest making money post. Live dangerously (just don’t get caught) and write that post about your boss and what you’re going to tell him to do the day that you quit after you decide to become a dot com bazillionaire. Bonus points (+5) if you’ve posted a picture of your boss without him/her knowing.

5. Speaking of your mother, did you send a card on Mother’s Day?

Yes - Give yourself +1 point.

No - Give yourself -1 point.

Bonus Points - +1 more if you included flowers or chocolates or took her out to dinner.

6. Did you leave a comment on the last blog that you visited before this one?

Yes - You’re a role model for the rest of us and you get +1 point.

No - Well, here’s your chance to make up for it by leaving one here. No points for you though, I shouldn’t have to tell you.

7. Did you grow a mullet?

Yes - Minus 25 points.

No -  Plus 25 points. Good Job.
