Often while I’m perusing the internet for interesting things to read or look at or write about or some combination of these things, I’ll also be listening to one of the many internet radio stations that I’ve set up. Hopefully by following this guide you’ll be able to set up your own station that will not only improve your productivity, but get you bobbing your head while your typing.

1. Open up your internet browser whether it’s Internet Explorer or FireFox (my favorite) or something else.

2. Head on over to Pandora Radio.

3. Register with Pandora (don’t worry, it’s free)

4. Click on Create New Station.

5. Input your favorite song or artist into the box. Pandora takes the songs and artists that you input and builds a personal station geared to your tastes. Not only do they play the things that you like, but it also searches for songs and artists that are similar to what you like. I hear new stuff everyday that I probably wouldn’t have found on my own.

6. As songs play you can give them a thumbs or a thumbs down, or you can simply skip them if you want. The station continually evolves as you give it more information to work with.

7. Put on your headphones and start working.

You can even listen to stations that have been created by other users or friends. The options are endless. And if you want to know what How2Blogger listens to while he’s writing - How2Blogger’s Pandora Station.
